Oh my gosh what a cool photo!

Our Noël

We’re staying home for the holidays, which means a lot of naps in the afternoon, experimenting with delicious food and walks around the city. Montreal didn’t get a lot of snow this year – which is fine with me, but fortunately we did see a few flurries on Christmas day.

We decorated our chubby tree (kudos to D for picking it out), roasted chestnuts and had peppermint hot chocolate.

Doesn’t the city look wonderful? Under the falling snow and a bit of fog (♥)?

You always take such magical photos. It makes me want to just jump into one of them. Absolutely love the one with the hot cocoa. Got a new lens for my camera for Christmas so I can take close ups and blur the background. So excited. I need to start experimenting with it. Sorry I haven’t been around in a while. Glad you had a wonderful holiday!

Compared to this, childbirth will be like a walk in the park

I had my tonsils removed a few days ago.

The pain is kicking my ass big time. It hurts to swallow even the tiniest bit of saliva, and since I cannot eat much, I keep thinking about all the yummy foods I would eat and guess what? More saliva. *Facepalm*.

Oh no, so sorry. I remember having myy wisdom teeth removed and one of my cheeks was swollen and so painful. Good painkillers and patience … it sucks, but soon enough you’ll be eating all the yummies you yearn for. Hope you feel better soon :-)

Oh my gosh that sounds so horrible. I have never had my tonsils out and I hope I never have to. Eat lots of ice cream when you can! :D

That sounds awful :( I hope you get better. I haven’t had to have my tonsils removed yet, but I dread the day if it ever comes.

Apparently you can ask to eat a lot of ice cream to soothe your throat.

Ooooh, had no idea :( . Good luck with all of that, hope you’re OK soon! Think of brown dry earth, maybe it’ll go away… Insanatosire grabnica Alex!
